On July 20, 2023, the Elk Grove Planning Commission unanimously approved the Vulcan Elk Grove Project with a 5-0 vote.

“We are excited to bring the Grant Line Construction Aggregate Production & Recycling Facility to the Elk Grove community,” says Barbara Goodrich-Welk, Vulcan Materials Company Government and Community Relations Manager, Western Division. “With this facility, we look forward to delivering the high-quality, locally sourced construction materials necessary to Elk Grove and Sacramento County construction and infrastructure projects.”
